The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 7.157.6

चित्तमेतदनाकारमपि साकारवत्स्थितम् ।
संकल्पैः परलोकाद्यैः स्वप्नाद्यैरेतदेव सत् ॥ ६ ॥

cittametadanākāramapi sākāravatsthitam |
saṃkalpaiḥ paralokādyaiḥ svapnādyairetadeva sat || 6 ||

This formless takes the form of the mind, by its being combined, with volition and its views of this and the next world, (i.e. its worldly enjoyments and future bliss), in its state of life and death, and of waking and sleep.
