The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

शरीराण्यथ कर्माणि दुःखानि च सुखानि च ।
यथा स्थितान्युपायान्तु यान्तु वा कस्य किं ग्रहः ॥ ८२ ॥

śarīrāṇyatha karmāṇi duḥkhāni ca sukhāni ca |
yathā sthitānyupāyāntu yāntu vā kasya kiṃ grahaḥ || 82 ||

Let our bodies rise or fall, and our destinies overtake us as they will; let happiness or misery befall on us as they are decreed, they cannot affect the serenity of the indifferent soul.
