The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 7.140.22

क्वचित्सन्नमहाकायगरुडामरपर्वतः ।
क्वचिन्मत्तमहासेतुर्यमदण्डेन भूजुषा ॥ २२ ॥

kvacitsannamahākāyagaruḍāmaraparvataḥ |
kvacinmattamahāseturyamadaṇḍena bhūjuṣā || 22 ||

In some place the bulky body of Garuda, bulged out like the huge mountain of the gods; and in others the embankments were swept away; as if they were slashed by the mace of Yama fallen upon the ground.
