The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

विवेश मनसा मौनी ततः शास्त्रविवेकिताम् ।
दिनैरेव यथा पुष्पमामोदेन नराशयम् ॥ ४ ॥
viveśa manasā maunī tataḥ śāstravivekitām |
dinaireva yathā puṣpamāmodena narāśayam || 4 ||
In course of a few days, his mind turned to the investigations of sastras; as a full blown flower enters into the minds of men, by means of its far smelling fragrance.
