The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

वहत्स्वसृक्प्रवाहेषु मेदोगन्धे विजृम्भिते ।
दुःखिताश्चिन्तयामासुः प्रत्येकममरा इदम् ॥ ४३ ॥

vahatsvasṛkpravāheṣu medogandhe vijṛmbhite |
duḥkhitāścintayāmāsuḥ pratyekamamarā idam || 43 ||

Seeing now the streams of reddish blood running around and the putrid stink of rotten body spreading on all sides; the gods all felt sorrowful at heart, and grieved among themselves with exclaiming.
