The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

घननिर्घातनिर्घोषभीषणार्णवघुंघुमात् ।
न भीता भूभृतस्तत्र वेलावलनजृम्भितात् ॥ १७ ॥

ghananirghātanirghoṣabhīṣaṇārṇavaghuṃghumāt |
na bhītā bhūbhṛtastatra velāvalanajṛmbhitāt || 17 ||

The sounding main, which was as loud as the roaring clouds, and the re-billowing billows, which were louder than they, bore no terror to them that stood as rocks thereon.
