The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 7.91.30

अब्धाऽब्धौ शफरावर्तमब्धा गोमञ्जरीगणः ।
अब्दादौ दावदहनं वैद्युतं द्योतनं तनौ ॥ ३० ॥

abdhā'bdhau śapharāvartamabdhā gomañjarīgaṇaḥ |
abdādau dāvadahanaṃ vaidyutaṃ dyotanaṃ tanau || 30 ||

I looked into the submarine fire lying latent in the sea, and the eddies whirling the silvery shrimps in the whirlpools, I saw the golden rays of the sun, shining as filaments of flowers upon the waters, and I saw also the lightnings flashing in the midst of clouds.
