The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

असुषुप्तसुषुप्तस्थः स्वभावं भावयन्भव ।
जाग्रत्यपि गतव्यग्रो मा स्वप्नमिदमाश्रय ॥ १३ ॥

asuṣuptasuṣuptasthaḥ svabhāvaṃ bhāvayanbhava |
jāgratyapi gatavyagro mā svapnamidamāśraya || 13 ||

Do you remain, O Rama! thus sleepless in your sleeping state, and reflect on the nature of things as you see them in your dream. Be steady when you are awake, and never be drowned in your sleep nor deceived by your beguiling dreams.
