The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

असत्यमेवाहमिति भासते सत्यमेव च ।
भ्रान्तिभाजं विनैवेयं भ्रान्तिः स्फुरति सा सती ॥ ४७ ॥

asatyamevāhamiti bhāsate satyameva ca |
bhrāntibhājaṃ vinaiveyaṃ bhrāntiḥ sphurati sā satī || 47 ||

Our egoism or consciousness of ourselves, which seems as a reality unto us, is no other than a delirium of our brain, and an erroneous conception of the mind.
