The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

ग्राह्यग्राहकसंबन्धः कुतश्चिदिति तन्न नः ।
विद्यतेऽसौ प्रशान्तानां येषामस्ति न वेद्मि तान् ॥ ५ ॥

grāhyagrāhakasaṃbandhaḥ kutaściditi tanna naḥ |
vidyate'sau praśāntānāṃ yeṣāmasti na vedmi tān || 5 ||

There is no relation of the container and contained, or of the subject or object between it and ourselves; nor do we know those saintly men, who know it as any object of their knowledge.
