The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 6.128.89

विजयो विक्रमेणेव प्रकाश इव तेजसा ।
प्रज्ञोत्कर्षः श्रुतेनेव सुपर्णेनायमुह्यते ॥ ८९ ॥

vijayo vikrameṇeva prakāśa iva tejasā |
prajñotkarṣaḥ śruteneva suparṇenāyamuhyate || 89 ||

As victory is borne upon the wings of valour, and as light is borne upon the flame of fire; and as learning bears and conveys the fruit of good understanding, so is this god-like Rama borne upon the wings of the bird of heaven.
