The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 6.128.88

अजोऽयं जायते योगाज्जागरूकः सदा महान् ।
बिभर्ति भगवानेतद्विरूपो विश्वरूपवान् ॥ ८८ ॥

ajo'yaṃ jāyate yogājjāgarūkaḥ sadā mahān |
bibharti bhagavānetadvirūpo viśvarūpavān || 88 ||

He is the uncreated creator, that is born by his yoga or union with the power of delusion (maya). He is the ever wakeful and the ever great spirit of God, which though it is formless doth yet form and support this frame of this universe, by transforming himself to the form of a man-lion.
