The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 6.128.41

अहमेकः परं ब्रह्म इत्यात्मान्तः प्रकाशते ।
श्रीवाल्मीकिरुवाच ।
सखे संन्यस्य कर्माणि ब्रह्मणः प्रणयी भव ॥ ४१ ॥

ahamekaḥ paraṃ brahma ityātmāntaḥ prakāśate |
śrīvālmīkiruvāca |
sakhe saṃnyasya karmāṇi brahmaṇaḥ praṇayī bhava || 41 ||

Valmiki said:—Friend, give up your observance of religious acts;and be devoted yourself to the meditation of Brahma, if you want to stop the revolution of the wheel of this world upon you.
