The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

चूडालोवाच ।
यदुक्तं नयशालिन्या तया विदितवेद्यया ।
तदा चूडालया ज्ञानं तत्कस्मान्नोररीकृतम् ॥ १ ॥

yaduktaṃ nayaśālinyā tayā viditavedyayā |
tadā cūḍālayā jñānaṃ tatkasmānnorarīkṛtam || 1 ||

Chudala continued:—Tell me prince, what made you decline to accept the advice of the princess Chudala, who is equally skilled in morality, as well as in Divine knowledge.
