The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

श्रीवसिष्ठ उवाच ।
एतत्पञ्चकबीजं तु कुण्डलिन्यां तदन्तरे ।
प्राणमारुतरूपेण तस्यां स्फुरति सर्वदा ॥ १ ॥

śrīvasiṣṭha uvāca |
etatpañcakabījaṃ tu kuṇḍalinyāṃ tadantare |
prāṇamārutarūpeṇa tasyāṃ sphurati sarvadā || 1 ||

Vasishtha continued:—The seeds of these pentuples are contained in the inside of the great artery, and are expanding every moment by the vibration of the vital breath in the beings.
