The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

तस्यामन्तः प्रफुल्लानि पद्मानि सुबहून्यपि ।
सरस्यामिव रम्याणि तान्यनन्तानि सन्ति वै ॥ ८ ॥

tasyāmantaḥ praphullāni padmāni subahūnyapi |
sarasyāmiva ramyāṇi tānyanantāni santi vai || 8 ||

There are many full blown lotuses, and unnumbered buds of water lilies, growing amidst the limpid lake of water, contained within the bosom of this wondrous stone.
