The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 6.38.14

चिन्मात्रमनुभूत्यात्मा सर्वगः सर्वसंश्रयः ।
घटे पटे वटे कुड्ये शकटे वानरे स्थितः ॥ १४ ॥

cinmātramanubhūtyātmā sarvagaḥ sarvasaṃśrayaḥ |
ghaṭe paṭe vaṭe kuḍye śakaṭe vānare sthitaḥ || 14 ||

He is the intellect only and the conscious soul, the all pervading and the all supporting spirit; and resides alike in the pot and painting, as in the moving car as also in living animals.
