The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

विवेश पिङ्गलाकारं विन्ध्यकन्दरगामिनम् ।
पिङ्गलोऽसौ नभस्त्यक्त्वा कुञ्जकुञ्जरसुन्दरम् ॥ २१ ॥

viveśa piṅgalākāraṃ vindhyakandaragāminam |
piṅgalo'sau nabhastyaktvā kuñjakuñjarasundaram || 21 ||

He entered into the body of the solar attendant said:—Pingala, who was now proceeding from heaven to the cell amidst the delightful groves of the Vindhyan range.
