The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

त्यक्तो मयैष संकेतो नाहं देशो न वैष मे ।
इदानीं नगरं शिष्टमेष एवात्र निश्चयः ॥ ५ ॥

tyakto mayaiṣa saṃketo nāhaṃ deśo na vaiṣa me |
idānīṃ nagaraṃ śiṣṭameṣa evātra niścayaḥ || 5 ||

Without this election I am no body here, nor is this place any thing to me; though this city and this place are to last for ever.
