क्षीरोदार्णवजाताभिर्दिरधाभिरमृतांशुभिः ।
क्वचिद्दानवकन्याभिर्भाति निर्विवरान्तरः ॥ ९ ॥

kṣīrodārṇavajātābhirdiradhābhiramṛtāṃśubhiḥ |
kvaciddānavakanyābhirbhāti nirvivarāntaraḥ || 9 ||

It is peopled by the milk white Naiades or marine goddesses, born in the milky ocean-sweet water, and of the race of demons, who filled every gap and chasm of it with their progeny.
