The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

संपाद्य तदहःकार्यमार्यावर्जनपूर्वकम् ।
अनयच्छर्वरीमेकस्तयैव ध्यानलीलया ॥ ३ ॥

saṃpādya tadahaḥkāryamāryāvarjanapūrvakam |
anayaccharvarīmekastayaiva dhyānalīlayā || 3 ||

Having discharged his duties of the day and honoured the gods and the priests, he passed the night absorbed in his meditations.
