The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 5.2.1

श्रीवाल्मीकिरुवाच ।
ते समेत्य गृहं गत्वा राजपुत्राः शशित्विषः ।
चक्रुः सर्वमशेषेण स्वसद्मसु दिनक्रमम् ॥ १ ॥

śrīvālmīkiruvāca |
te sametya gṛhaṃ gatvā rājaputrāḥ śaśitviṣaḥ |
cakruḥ sarvamaśeṣeṇa svasadmasu dinakramam || 1 ||

Valmiki continued his relation to bharadwaja and said:—After the moon-bright princes had got to their residence, they discharged their daily services according to the diurnal ritual.
