The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

दृश्यमानमथेदं चेदस्ति सत्तामुपागतम् ।
तिष्ठ स्वात्मनि बध्नासि त्वं किमत्र किलात्मत्ताम् ॥ २ ॥

dṛśyamānamathedaṃ cedasti sattāmupāgatam |
tiṣṭha svātmani badhnāsi tvaṃ kimatra kilātmattām || 2 ||

If you take the phenomenal world for a reality, you may continue to enslave yourself to the unreal material; and lose the spiritual nature of your soul.
