The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

शरीररूढोन्नतहेतिवृक्षवनावलीलग्नमहाग्निदाहाः ।
सुरासुराः प्रापुरथाम्बरान्तः कल्पानिलान्दोलितशैलशोभाम् ॥ १७ ॥

śarīrarūḍhonnatahetivṛkṣavanāvalīlagnamahāgnidāhāḥ |
surāsurāḥ prāpurathāmbarāntaḥ kalpānilāndolitaśailaśobhām || 17 ||

The long weapons sticking to the bodies of the deities and demons, were as bushes with their burning pain; thus their big statures appeared as rocks decorated with arbors growing upon them.
