The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

ससर्ज मायया घोरानसुरांस्त्रीन्महाबलान् ।
बलरक्षार्थमुदितान्कालान्मूर्तिमिव स्थितान् ॥ ३४ ॥

sasarja māyayā ghorānasurāṃstrīnmahābalān |
balarakṣārthamuditānkālānmūrtimiva sthitān || 34 ||

Then he produced by his sorcery three very strong and fearful Asuras for the protection of his army, with their hideous appearances as that of death.
