Verse 4.23.16

धीवरत्रादृढाबद्धचपलेन्द्रियमर्कटा ।
वदनोद्यानहसनपुष्पोद्गममनोरमा ॥ १६ ॥

dhīvaratrādṛḍhābaddhacapalendriyamarkaṭā |
vadanodyānahasanapuṣpodgamamanoramā || 16 ||

Here the understanding is fast bound in chains as a prisoner, and the organs of sense are let loose as monkies to play about. The face is as a flower garden, the smiles whereof are its blooming blossoms.
