The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 4.15.30

सा हीदंप्रथमत्वेन समुपेत्य परात्पदात् ।
भूताकाशपदं प्राप्य वातव्यावलिता सती ॥ ३० ॥

sā hīdaṃprathamatvena samupetya parātpadāt |
bhūtākāśapadaṃ prāpya vātavyāvalitā satī || 30 ||

This was the first body with which he was born by the will of his Maker, being first formed in the form of subtile air, and then changed into the shape of wind.
