The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 4.7.28

चन्द्रांशुरसपानेन चकोरी चपला यथा ।
मामिमां चरणालीनां भ्रमरीं करपल्लवैः ॥ २८ ॥

candrāṃśurasapānena cakorī capalā yathā |
māmimāṃ caraṇālīnāṃ bhramarīṃ karapallavaiḥ || 28 ||

As the fluttering Chakora, is delighted with drinking the moonbeams, so is this suppliant at thy feet, blessed by the touch of the leaf-like palm of thy hand.
