The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

अथ सा मासषट्केन ध्यानाद्बोधमुपागता ।
महाजलदनादेन प्रावृषीव शिखण्डिनी ॥ ४ ॥

atha sā māsaṣaṭkena dhyānādbodhamupāgatā |
mahājaladanādena prāvṛṣīva śikhaṇḍinī || 4 ||

After six months of her continued meditation, she got the knowledge of what she sought; as the roaring of clouds rouses the peacock, to the sense of an approaching rain.
