The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 3.50.46

लता परशुकृत्तेव मूर्च्छिता भुवि सापतत् ।
विदूरथोऽपि निर्जानुः प्रहरन्नेव विद्विषि ॥ ४६ ॥

latā paraśukṛtteva mūrcchitā bhuvi sāpatat |
vidūratho'pi nirjānuḥ praharanneva vidviṣi || 46 ||

Saying so, she began to shudder with fear at the woeful sight of her husband's person, and fell insensible on the ground like a creeper cut off by an axe.
