The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 3.49.10

ते गिरीणां तथा क्षिप्ताः कोटितुण्डावखण्डनैः ।
शिरांसि पातयामासुः फलानीवोल्बणानिलाः ॥ १० ॥

te girīṇāṃ tathā kṣiptāḥ koṭituṇḍāvakhaṇḍanaiḥ |
śirāṃsi pātayāmāsuḥ phalānīvolbaṇānilāḥ || 10 ||

These falling bolts broke the stones with their pointed ends, and hewed down the heads (tops) of the hills, like a hurricane scattering the fruits of trees on the ground.
