The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

द्रष्टृदृश्यक्रमो यत्र स्थितोऽप्यस्तमयं गतः ।
यदनाकाशमाकाशं तद्रूपं परमात्मनः ॥ २१ ॥

draṣṭṛdṛśyakramo yatra sthito'pyastamayaṃ gataḥ |
yadanākāśamākāśaṃ tadrūpaṃ paramātmanaḥ || 21 ||

It is He in whose knowledge we lose our sense of the beholder and visibles, and who is an invacuous vacuum or a substantive vacuity himself. (i. e. Who being known, we forget our knowledge both of the subjective and objective, and view his unity as the only to on or substratum of all).
