The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

प्रतिहार महाबाहुं रामं सत्यपराक्रमम् ।
सलक्ष्मणमविघ्नेन पुण्यार्थं शीघ्रमानय ॥ २ ॥
daśaratha uvāca |
pratihāra mahābāhuṃ rāmaṃ satyaparākramam |
salakṣmaṇamavighnena puṇyārthaṃ śīghramānaya || 2 ||
Go you chamberlain, and bring here quickly the truly mighty and long armed Rama with Lakshmana, for the meritorious purpose of removing the impediments.
