The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 1.10.1

दशमः सर्गः वाल्मीकिरुवाच ।
तथा वसिष्ठे ब्रुवति राजा दशरथः सुतम् ।
संप्रहृष्टमना राममाजुहाव सलक्ष्मणम् ॥ १ ॥

daśamaḥ sargaḥ vālmīkiruvāca |
tathā vasiṣṭhe bruvati rājā daśarathaḥ sutam |
saṃprahṛṣṭamanā rāmamājuhāva salakṣmaṇam || 1 ||
