The English translation of the Sri Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu verse 3.4.28; a medieval era Sanskrit book, written by Rupa Goswami (fl. 15th century) which represents a devotional (bhakti) masterpiece. यथा —
क्वणित-कनक-किङ्किणी-कलापं
स्मित-मुखम् उज्ज्वल-नासिकाग्रम् उक्तम् ।
कर-धृत-नवनीत-पिण्डम् अग्रे
तनयम् अवेक्ष्य ननन्द नन्द-पत्नी ॥३.४.२८॥yathā —
kvaṇita-kanaka-kiṅkiṇī-kalāpaṃ
smita-mukham ujjvala-nāsikāgram uktam |
kara-dhṛta-navanīta-piṇḍam agre
tanayam avekṣya nananda nanda-patnī ||3.4.28||
English translation
An example:
“Nanda’s wife derived great pleasure from seeing Kṛṣṇa in front of her, with small gold bells jingling around His waist, with a pearl in His nose and butter in His hand.”
