The English translation of the Sri Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu verse 3.2.82; a medieval era Sanskrit book, written by Rupa Goswami (fl. 15th century) which represents a devotional (bhakti) masterpiece. In this work Goswami describes the nature and different forms of pure love (rasa) as well as various other topics on Vaishnavism and devotion.

अथ प्रेमा —
क्रास-शङ्का-च्युता बद्ध-मूला प्रेमेयम् उच्यते ।
अस्यानुभावाः कथितास् तत्र व्यसनितादयः ॥३.२.८१॥

atha premā —
krāsa-śaṅkā-cyutā baddha-mūlā premeyam ucyate |
asyānubhāvāḥ kathitās tatra vyasanitādayaḥ ||3.2.81||

English translation

“Wहेन् सम्भ्रम-प्रीति बेचोमेस् fइर्म्ल्य् fइxएद्, wइथ् नो दोउब्त् थत् इत् wइल्ल् देच्रेअसे, इत् इस् चल्लेद् प्रेम. थे अनुभावस् अरे सुछ् थिन्ग्स् अस् चोम्प्लेते अत्तछ्मेन्त् तो थे लोर्द्.”

यथा—
अणिमादि-सौख्य-वीचीम् अवीचि-दुःख-प्रवाहं वा ।
नय मां विकृतिर् न हि मे त्वत्-पदकमलावलम्बस्य ॥३.२.८२॥

“When sambhrama-prīti becomes firmly fixed, with no doubt that it will decrease, it is called prema. The anubhāvas are such things as complete attachment to the Lord.”

yathā—
aṇimādi-saukhya-vīcīm avīci-duḥkha-pravāhaṃ vā |
naya māṃ vikṛtir na hi me tvat-padakamalāvalambasya ||3.2.82||

English translation

“Since I have taken shelter of Your lotus feet, You may throw me into the waves of suffering in the hell called Avīci, or throw me into the waves of happiness by bestowing siddhis like aṇima, but I will not change my prema for You.”
