यथा,
तव कर-कमल-स्थां स्फाटिकीम् अक्ष-मालां
  नख-किरण-विभिन्नां दाडिमी-बीज-बुद्ध्या ।
अनुकलम् अनुकर्षन् येन कीरो निबद्धः
  स भवतु मम भूत्यै वाणि ते मन्द-हासः ॥

yathā,
tava kara-kamala-sthāṃ sphāṭikīm akṣa-mālāṃ
  nakha-kiraṇa-vibhinnāṃ dāḍimī-bīja-buddhyā
|
anukalam anukarṣan yena kīro nibaddhaḥ
  sa bhavatu mama bhūtyai vāṇi te manda-hāsaḥ
||

tava—your; kara-kamala—in the lotus hand; sthām—located; sphāṭikīm—crystalline; akṣa-mālāmgarland of rudrākṣa beads; nakha—of the nails; kiraṇa—by the rays; vibhinnām—altered; dāḍimī—of pamegranates; bīja—of seeds; buddhyā—by thinking; anukalam—time and time again; anukarṣan—while dragging; yena—by which [gentle smile]; kīraḥ—a parrot; nibaddhaḥ—was caught; saḥ—that [gentle smile]; bhavatu—may it be; mama—my; bhūtyai—for the well-being; vāṇi—O Sarasvatī; te—your; manda—gentle; hāsaḥ—smile.

O Sarasvatī, may your gentle smile, due to which the parrot was caught, exist for my well-being. Thinking that the rudrākṣa beads were pomegranate seeds, the parrot was constantly picking on those beads, whose appearance had become crystalline by the effulgence of your nails, in your lotus hand.

Commentary:

The rudrākṣa beads had become whitened by the effulgence. They regained their redness due to the redness of her hand.
