Rig Veda 6.20.2

दि॒वो न तुभ्य॒मन्वि॑न्द्र स॒त्रासु॒र्यं॑ दे॒वेभि॑र्धायि॒ विश्व॑म् । अहिं॒ यद्वृ॒त्रम॒पो व॑व्रि॒वांसं॒ हन्नृ॑जीषि॒न्विष्णु॑ना सचा॒नः ॥
दिवो न तुभ्यमन्विन्द्र सत्रासुर्यं देवेभिर्धायि विश्वम् । अहिं यद्वृत्रमपो वव्रिवांसं हन्नृजीषिन्विष्णुना सचानः ॥
divo na tubhyam anv indra satrāsuryaṃ devebhir dhāyi viśvam | ahiṃ yad vṛtram apo vavrivāṃsaṃ hann ṛjīṣin viṣṇunā sacānaḥ ||

English translation:

“To you, Indra, as to the sun, all strength has verily been given by the gods; so that, drinker of the stale Soma, associated with Viṣṇu, you mightiest slay the hostile Ahi obstructing the waters.”

Commentary by Sāyaṇa: Ṛgveda-bhāṣya

Given by the gods: devebhiḥ = stotṛbhiḥ; stotraiḥ stuyamānā devatā balavatī, a deity becomes strong, being praised with praises; the hostile Ahi: ahim vṛtram = hantāram, Vṛtra, the destroyer Vṛtra
