तूर्व॒न्नोजी॑यान्त॒वस॒स्तवी॑यान्कृ॒तब्र॒ह्मेन्द्रो॑ वृ॒द्धम॑हाः । राजा॑भव॒न्मधु॑नः सो॒म्यस्य॒ विश्वा॑सां॒ यत्पु॒रां द॒र्त्नुमाव॑त् ॥
तूर्वन्नोजीयान्तवसस्तवीयान्कृतब्रह्मेन्द्रो वृद्धमहाः । राजाभवन्मधुनः सोम्यस्य विश्वासां यत्पुरां दर्त्नुमावत् ॥
tūrvann ojīyān tavasas tavīyān kṛtabrahmendro vṛddhamahāḥ | rājābhavan madhunaḥ somyasya viśvāsāṃ yat purāṃ dartnum āvat ||

English translation:

“When Indra, the destroyer, the most mighty, the strongest of the strong, the giver of food, the possessor of vast splendour, received (the thunderbolt), the shatterer of all the cities (of the asuras), he became the lord of the sweet Soma.”
