Rig Veda 6.16.16

एह्यू॒ षु ब्रवा॑णि॒ तेऽग्न॑ इ॒त्थेत॑रा॒ गिर॑: । ए॒भिर्व॑र्धास॒ इन्दु॑भिः ॥
एह्यू षु ब्रवाणि तेऽग्न इत्थेतरा गिरः । एभिर्वर्धास इन्दुभिः ॥
ehy ū ṣu bravāṇi te 'gna itthetarā giraḥ | ebhir vardhāsa indubhiḥ ||
English translation:
“Come, Agni, that I may address to you other praises in this manner; augment with these libations.”
Commentary by Sāyaṇa: Ṛgveda-bhāṣya
Other praises in this maner: ittthetarā giraḥ = ittha, anena prakāreṇa, thus, in this manner; also, offered by others, or by the asuras, asuraiḥ kṛtā; Aitareya Brāhmaṇa 3.49 cites this ṛca: other than those offered to the gods, or adverse to the gods, propitiatory of the asuras, asurebhyaḥ hitaḥ devavākyāditara devavirodhinya ityarthaḥ
