आ त्वा॑ बृ॒हन्तो॒ हर॑यो युजा॒ना अ॒र्वागि॑न्द्र सध॒मादो॑ वहन्तु । प्र ये द्वि॒ता दि॒व ऋ॒ञ्जन्त्याता॒: सुस॑म्मृष्टासो वृष॒भस्य॑ मू॒राः ॥
आ त्वा बृहन्तो हरयो युजाना अर्वागिन्द्र सधमादो वहन्तु । प्र ये द्विता दिव ऋञ्जन्त्याताः सुसम्मृष्टासो वृषभस्य मूराः ॥
ā tvā bṛhanto harayo yujānā arvāg indra sadhamādo vahantu | pra ye dvitā diva ṛñjanty ātāḥ susammṛṣṭāso vṛṣabhasya mūrāḥ ||
English translation:
“May your mighty horses, Indra, harnessed (in your car), and alike exhilaarated (by Soma), bring you our presence, for they are the destroyers (of the foes) of the showerer (of benefits), and kindly rubbed by his hand they traverse, going quickly, the regions of the sky, making them as it were twofold.”
Commentary by Sāyaṇa: Ṛgveda-bhāṣya
Making them as it were twofold: pra ye dvitā diva ṛñjanti; sarvā diśo dvitā, dvidhām, yathā bhavati tathā prakarṣeṇa sādhayanti, they especially make all the quarters of the horizon double, so that it (the sky) becomes twofold
