Consisting of 18 books, the Mahabharata details the history and legends concerning ancient India (Bharata), including a major battle campaign involving the Kauravas and the Pandavas, also known as the Kurukshetra War. अनुज्ञातो रथवेगावधूतः श्रान्तो निपद्ये शयनं नृसिंह ।
प्रातः श्रोतारः कुरवः सभायामजातशत्रोर्वचनं समेताः ॥ ३० ॥

anujñāto rathavegāvadhūtaḥ śrānto nipadye śayanaṃ nṛsiṃha |
