नियमं चोपवासानां सर्वेषां ब्रूहि पार्थिव ।
अवाप्नोति गतिं कां च उपवासपरायणः ॥ ३ ॥

avāpnoti gatiṃ kāṃ ca upavāsaparāyaṇaḥ || 3 ||
