Consisting of 18 books, the Mahabharata details the history and legends concerning ancient India (Bharata), including a major battle campaign involving the Kauravas and the Pandavas, also known as the Kurukshetra War. द्वारकावासिभिश्चान्यैर्वृष्ण्यन्धकमहारथैः ।
नोक्तपूर्वमिदं जातु यदिदं प्रार्थितं त्वया ॥ ३३ ॥
