महा-भागवतः साक्षात्
त्वं परावर-वित्तमः
जितेन्द्रियो बाल्य-भावाद्
वीरो धन्वी वसूत्तमः
एतद् वद महा-बुद्धे
किं कर्तव्यं मयात्र वै

mahā-bhāgavataḥ sākṣāt
tvaṃ parāvara-vittamaḥ
jitendriyo bālya-bhāvād
vīro dhanvī vasūttamaḥ
etad vada mahā-buddhe
kiṃ kartavyaṃ mayātra vai

mahā-bhāgavataḥa great devotee; sākṣātdirectly; tvam—you; parāvara-vittamaḥall-knowing; jitendriyaḥconquering the senses; bālya-bhāvāt—from childhood; vīraḥa hero; dhanvīa bowman; vasūttamaḥthe best of the Vasus; etat—this; vadaplease tell; mahā-buddhe—O intelligent one; kim—what?; kartavyam—should be done; mayāby me; atra—here; vai—indeed.

English translation of verse 4.6.22:

You are a great devotee. You know everything. Your senses are carefully controlled. From childhood you have been a heroic warrior. You are an expert archer and the best of the Vasus. O very intelligent one, please say what I should do.
