The Garga-samhita Verse 1.16.15, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. गोवर्धनो रत्न-शिलामयो ऽभूत्
सुवर्ण-शृङ्गैः परितः स्फुरद्भिः
मत्तालिभिर् निर्झर-सुन्दरीभिर्
दारीभिर् उच्चाङ्ग-करीव राजन्

govardhano ratna-śilāmayo 'bhūt
suvarṇa-śṛṅgaiḥ paritaḥ sphuradbhiḥ
mattālibhir nirjhara-sundarībhir
dārībhir uccāṅga-karīva rājan

English translation of verse 1.16.15:

Govardhana was made of jewels and had glistening golden peaks everywhere, maddened bees, and caves beautiful with swiftly-flowing streams. O king, it was like a great, gigantic elephant.
