1. Brahmin who has performed the Sōma sacrifice; சோமயாகஞ் செய்தோன். குட்டேறபட்ட சோமயாஜியார் [somayagagn seython. kutterapatta somayajiyar] (S. I. I. iii, 110).
2. A title among Brahmins whose ancestors have performed Sōma sacrifice; சோமயாஜிகளின் மரபினரான பிரா மணர் தரிக்கும் பட்டப்பெயர். [somayajigalin marapinarana pira manar tharikkum pattappeyar.]
