The Buddha Carita (Saddharma-pundarika) by Asvaghosa a famous Sanskrit text revolving around the live and exploits of the Buddha. The Buddha Carita (Buddhacarita) is written in the style of a Kavya (or Mahakavya, epic poetry) and extant original Sanskrit text consists of roughly 1,000 metrical verses.

Verse 10.16

तत्रैवमालोक्य स राजभृत्यः श्रेण्याय राज्ञे कथयां चकार ।
संश्रुत्य राजा स च बाहुमान्यात्तत्र प्रतस्थे निभृतानुयात्रः ॥ १६ ॥

tatraivamālokya sa rājabhṛtyaḥ śreṇyāya rājñe kathayāṃ cakāra |
saṃśrutya rājā sa ca bāhumānyāttatra pratasthe nibhṛtānuyātraḥ || 16 ||

That royal attendant, having thus watched him there, related it all to the king Shrenya; and the king, when he heard it, in his deep veneration, started himself to go thither with a modest retinue.
