The Buddha Carita (Saddharma-pundarika) by Asvaghosa a famous Sanskrit text revolving around the live and exploits of the Buddha. The Buddha Carita (Buddhacarita) is written in the style of a Kavya (or Mahakavya, epic poetry) and extant original Sanskrit text consists of roughly 1,000 metrical verses.

Verse 10.17

स पाण्डवं पाण्डवतुल्यवीर्यः शैलोत्तमं शैलसमानवर्ष्मा ।
मौलीधरः सिंहगतिर्नृसिंहश्चलत्सटः सिंह इवारुरोह ॥ १७ ॥

sa pāṇḍavaṃ pāṇḍavatulyavīryaḥ śailottamaṃ śailasamānavarṣmā |
maulīdharaḥ siṃhagatirnṛsiṃhaścalatsaṭaḥ siṃha ivāruroha || 17 ||

He who was like the Pamdavas in heroism, and like a mountain in stature, ascended Pamdava, that noblest of mountains,—a crown-wearer, of lion-like gait, a lion among men, as a maned lion ascends a mountain.
