This is the Sanskrit Mahavastu: a lengthy work on Buddhist teachings and narratives belonging to the school of early Buddhism (Mahasanghika). This edition only includes those metrical verses occuring in the various stories and Jatakas, as well as the corresponding English translation by J. J. Jones.

Verse 77.3

तस्य दोहलिनी भार्या सुपार्श्वा मान्सम् इच्छति ।
राज्ञो महानसे पक्वं प्रत्यग्रं राजभोजनं ॥ ३ ॥

tasya dohalinī bhāryā supārśvā mānsam icchati |
rājño mahānase pakvaṃ pratyagraṃ rājabhojanaṃ || 3 ||

His wife Suparshva yearns and wishes for meat, the exquisite cooked food in the king’s kitchen. (3)
